The flexion/extension curve is offset
This issue occurs when there is a problem with the selection of the first minimum.
Selecting the Control Points
You will need to discard the control points you previously selected and reselect them.
- Click on the “Edit > Reselect Control Points”
- When asked if you want to discard the control points, click “Yes”
- Align the long blue line with the small blue line to confirm the first minimum (heel strike on the treadmill).
- Click on the graph icon
to accept the control point. Accept the outliers.
TIP: You can maximize the window to help align the blue lines
Patient with a lack of absorption
In rare cases, on patients with an absorption deficit, the software may not correctly identify the first minimum.
Follow the previous steps, but instead of aligning the long blue line with the small blue line, move it to where the first minimum should be: the lowest spot on the dotted white line where the slope changes from descending to ascending.
