If the trackers are unstable
If you have issues keeping the trackers GREEN in Knee3D Assessment, use these steps to find the source of the problem:
Adjust the camera positioning
It is possible the trackers are at the edge of the field of view of the camera. Try to:
- Slightly rotate/tilt the camera angle to bring the trackers into the field of view of the camera
- Make sure nothing interferes with the field of view of the camera
It is also possible that something is interfering with the field of view of the camera. Check for the following and move them out of the field of view of the camera:
- A bright light directed toward the camera
- A large window
- A mirror or a reflective surface (i.e., mirrored wall, training equipment)
A mirrored wall, even if far away, may still be the field of view of the camera and cause interference.
Verify the marker sphere reflection
In some cases, the reflective marker spheres might need to be slightly rotated. You may also need to clean them with a dry cloth as some dust might be on the spheres.
- Directly on the KneeKG-Trackers, gently rotate the marker spheres to change the reflection.
Proceed with caution as the spheres are very fragile. Make sure your hands are clean or use an examination glove.
The marker sphere might be damaged
As the spheres are very fragile, it is possible the reflective surface was damaged. Replace the damaged spheres with the extra ones provided by Emovi.
